What to expect on your Mountain Lion Hunt:

· Hunts start early in the morning. Me or one of the guides will pick hunters up at hotel at designated time.

· We will look for tracks in 4-wheel-drive pickups, UTVs, or snow machines specifically set up for our style of hunting.

· Once a suitable track is found, hounds are released. Once lion is caught/treed, we will find the best access point to location of the lion.

· Once at the tree, a guide or I will determine trophy caliber and advise hunter on best way to dispatch the animal.

· After animal has been dispatched me or one of my guides will get the animal to your vehicle so you can take it to a processor or taxidermist or both.

· After harvest, hunt is considered over.

· We will ensure your arrival at airport if needed.

Antelope and elk

· Hunters will be picked up from their accommodations.

· WyoCat guides are all trained shooters and will be able to guide the hunter into making a clean kill.

· Guides will be able to furnish a firearm if necessary but will always have a shooting support of their preference available.

· Before the hunt begins, shooters will be able to sight in their rifles.

· Currently, archery hunting is only offered for elk (and Mountain Lions).

· Recommended clothing will depend on the season. We always recommend synthetics or wool clothing for any season.

· A light pack with basic survival equipment is highly recommended. This includes fire starting material, spare socks, waterproof or rain gear, a jacket, snacks and water. Each guide has one but having your own could be helpful.
